Pvt. John C. Hehn, Jr., died December 8, 1918, of wounds received in action.
Born on Dec. 4, 1893, in Nutley, he is the son of John Christopher and Ella Hehn, of Bloomfield Avenue, Newark, the 1910 U.S. Census lists siblings Peter, Earl and Langdon. Hehn registered for the draft from Somerville, Mass. Pvt. Hehn is buried at Riverside Cemetery, Montgomery, Orange County, N.Y.
